- Tabita (tah-BEE-tah) Ministries. The heart of Tabita Ministries is to alleviate poverty, bringing help and hope to those in need in the country of Romania. These objectives are accomplished through an Emergency Food & Clothing Program, Emergency Shelter, Spiritual and Life Skills Coaching. We focus primarily on helping Children, Single Mothers, the Elderly & Infirm. We strive to encourage families as they face day to day challenges Tabita Ministries is inspired by Acts 9:36-43. This is the account of Dorcas, also called Tabitha, a woman from Joppa who was known for befriending and helping the poor. As a result of Tabita Ministries many people are receiving new hope.
